Undefined Manager - Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of the Undefined Manager Discord bot (“the bot”, “we”, “our”). By adding the bot to a server or interacting with it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must remove the bot from your server and stop using it.

1. Eligibility and Acceptance

Using the bot means you confirm that:

  • You are at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by Discord in your region.

  • You agree to comply with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

  • Server owners and administrators accept responsibility for configuring the bot and ensuring it is used lawfully.

2. Description of Service

The bot provides automated and manual tools to support Discord communities, including:

  • Scam detection (OCR, QR scanning, keyword detection)

  • Automated moderation (warnings, timeouts, kicks, bans)

  • Image and link scanning for harmful or fraudulent content

  • Support ticket creation and transcript generation

  • Logging of moderation actions

  • Role and permission management

  • Community automation and utility commands

  • Analytics such as the number of scams prevented

Features may be updated, added, or removed at any time.

3. Required Permissions

To function correctly, the bot may request permissions such as:

  • Read and send messages

  • Read message content (for moderation and commands)

  • Manage messages (delete harmful content)

  • Timeout, kick, or ban members (when configured)

  • Manage roles

  • Access attachments and embedded media

  • Create and manage channels (for support tickets)

Server administrators choose which permissions to grant. Some features may not work without the required permissions.

4. User and Server Data Processing

The bot processes only the data necessary to operate safely and effectively.

Data the Bot May Process

  • Discord usernames, discriminators, avatars, and user IDs

  • Message content when required for moderation or commands

  • Attachments and embedded images for scam detection

  • Support ticket messages and attachments

  • Moderation actions (warnings, timeouts, kicks, bans)

  • Server metadata (IDs, channel names, role names)

  • Analytics (e.g., scams prevented, command usage)

Support Ticket Transcripts

When a ticket is created, the bot may:

  • Record messages sent within the ticket

  • Store attachments uploaded in the ticket

  • Generate a transcript

  • Deliver the transcript to a staff‑selected channel

Transcripts are stored only long enough to generate and deliver them.

What the Bot Does NOT Do

  • It does not read or store private DMs between users.

  • It does not access servers where it is not installed.

  • It does not sell or share data with third parties.

  • It does not store message content permanently unless part of a moderation log or ticket transcript.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the bot to:

  • Violate Discord’s Terms of Service or Community Guidelines

  • Harass, abuse, or harm others

  • Automate illegal, harmful, or fraudulent activity

  • Circumvent moderation or security systems

  • Collect data without user consent

  • Modify, reverse‑engineer, or exploit the bot

  • Interfere with the bot’s operation or attempt to overload it

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the bot if misuse is detected.

6. Availability and Updates

The bot is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee:

  • Uptime or uninterrupted service

  • Error‑free operation

  • Compatibility with all servers or configurations

We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.

7. Liability

Undefined Studios is not responsible for:

  • Loss of data

  • Moderation actions taken by server administrators

  • Misuse of the bot by users or staff

  • Damages resulting from downtime, bugs, or unexpected behaviour

  • Actions taken by Discord against a server or user

Use of the bot is at your own risk.

8. Termination

We may remove or disable the bot in any server if:

  • It is used in violation of these Terms

  • Required permissions are removed

  • Discord requests or enforces removal

  • Security concerns arise

  • Abuse, exploitation, or malicious use is detected

Server owners may remove the bot at any time.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be handled under UK jurisdiction.
